Roles: Head of Technology and Head of Sales

The Client

Amobee offers marketers, agencies, publishers, and operators an innovative digital marketing technology platform and solutions. Its customers can run data-driven, targeted, cross-channel digital marketing campaigns with unparalleled ROI on a global scale

The Brief

A series of high profile acquisitions meant Amobee needed a 2IC to the MD to roll out the vision for the business.

They’re a leading presence in the mobile and AdTech space, so a strong technical knowledge complemented by sales leadership was imperative.

After an initial consultation and report on the trends and talent shortage in the market, collectively, we came to the conclusion Amobee needed a Head of Technology as well as a Head of Sales to achieve long-term goals as the leaders in the tech space.


Firstly, we mapped the senior technology leads around the market, headhunting and presenting candidates from 3 of their closest rivals. After interviewing all 3, a preferred was identified and hired.

This gave us the scope to hire a senior sales lead with experience in building late, high-achieving sales teams that couldn’t be found in the tech space locally.


We shortlisted five candidates; three advanced to second interview and testing phase; round8 brokered the offer and the successful candidate was hired to schedule.
