The Jamie Oliver Group is the business end of ‘all things Jamie’ They help him achieve everything he sets out to do across three main areas: restaurants, media, and charity – The Jamie Oliver Food Foundation.
Jamie’s media business sells to over 200 broadcasters and has become a trailblazer in its utilisation of Youtube and social content.
The Brief
Their HR Director was looking for a Commercial Director, and came to us by referral.
Considerations
This brief was bit of a challenge: particularly because of how fast the landscape was changing for them as a business.
They needed someone with extensive media and advertising experience, cross-platform expertise, sound agency contacts, and a rapport for the Jamie Oliver brand and its aims. They wanted three distinct markets mapped: agency, brand, and media owner. Our area of domain expertise.

We presented five candidates across two weeks, and filled the role within a month.
